Case study

Victoria & Albert Museum

The world renown Victoria & Albert museum built in 1852, required an accurate measured survey to prepare a detailed elevation of all the courtyard facades, which MSA has had the privilege to execute. Using state of the art 3D laser scanners, our team of 3D scan and measurement professionals where able to capture all the intricate details of the building as seen in the image below.

It has been a massive privilege for our team at MSA to work with Victoria and Albert Museum on the full dimensional documentation of the courtyard facades to the John Madejski Courtyard Gardens. The elevations of the Grade I listed buildings were scanned and photographed to prepare detailed elevation drawings and calibrated Orthophotos that provide an invaluable historic record of current arrangements, and which are key to restoration, preservation and maintenance for these prestigious buildings.
